ACCA announced that it has developed free lesson plans to assist in teaching ACCA Manuals J, D, and S to HVAC students. The lesson plans are intended for use by HVAC instructors at vocational schools and community colleges as a method of introducing their students to industry-accepted procedures for system design.
The courses are also approved for CEU hours from a variety of certifying organizations

ACCA has announced the launch of Qtech, a new series of online certificate programs for HVAC technicians. Through Qtech, contractors can offer their employees on-demand training in quality HVACR installation, maintenance, home performance, and other areas.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute (ACCA-EI) Standards Task Team (STT) announced an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review period for its BSR/ACCA 14 QMref -201x, “Quality Maintenance of Commercial Refrigeration Systems,” as a new industry standard.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute (ACCA-EI) Standards Task Team announced that the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has recognized the updated ANSI/ACCA 5 QI (HVAC Quality Installation Specification) standard.
The CCI is calculated based on a survey of the association’s contractor members, who are asked how positive they feel about new business prospects, existing business activity, and expected staffing decisions in the short-term future.
How many contractors are truly looking three to five years down the road to investigate what their company will look like and, more importantly, what their competitors will look like? Odds are the government will be moving the goal posts on you.
Courses help HVAC contractors meet their licensing requirements

ACCA announced it has received approval for Ohio Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for its in-person residential and commercial Design for Quality Installation Courses. Participants can earn 24 CEUs for successfully completing each course.
