July 5, 2007: Carrier Launches Distribution Network in Southern California

FARMINGTON, Conn. - Carrier Corp. is launching a company-owned and operated sales and distribution network in Southern California for its heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration products.

"Our sales and distribution network in the region will offer a complete line of industry leading residential, light commercial, and commercial products and services from our Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Totaline brands," said Geraud Darnis, president of Carrier Corp. "Our top priority is to ensure our customers continue to receive the level of support they need to successfully grow their businesses, without any disruption.

"We are actively deploying our most knowledgeable and customer-focused sales representatives and a seasoned management team," said Darnis.

"We are also establishing an extensive network of sales offices, warehouses, and Totaline stores to improve upon existing coverage. We will have the new sales and distribution network fully operational by September and are excited to serve our customers in Southern California directly."
