July 22, 2010: Armistead Mechanical Wins Safety Award

WALDWICK, N.J. - Armistead Mechanical Inc. has been honored by the Northeastern Subcontractors Association (NESCA) with its Gold Safety Award in recognition of outstanding jobsite safety for 2009. With a lost workday case incidence rate (LWIR) of zero, Armistead Mechanical led its Gold Award category, which requires that members have a LWIR between 0 and 1.0.

Bob Armistead, president of the company and also president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), said, “We are thrilled to have received this award and are proud of our achievement of maintaining superior safety records.” He added, “We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of safety on our job sites and will continue to infuse knowledge and training into the Armistead team in order to properly preserve the safety and health of our employees.”
