PORTLAND, Ore. — Johnstone Supply Inc. is marking its 50th year in business this year. The company said that it plans to celebrate the anniversary with customers, vendors, and staff throughout the year, culminating with a 50th anniversary gala event at its 2003 annual meeting.

“The Johnstone 50th anniversary is a great opportunity for us to celebrate and reinforce the core company values of service, quality, and teamwork that have made Johnstone so successful through the years,” said Gary Daniels, Johnstone president.

Daniels noted that the year-long celebration will include special recognition of local customers and company vendors.

“Our past achievements and continued success are a direct result of our close relationships with customers and suppliers, and Johnstone thanks each and every one of them.”
