The company has expanded its line of nonspring-return electric actuators with the M9132 Series. Suitable for large valves and dampers, the series provides 280 lb-in. of torque, or 560 lb-in. when used in tandem. Valve applications include large globe, iron, butterfly, and ball valves. Damper applications include large fresh air and exhaust air dampers, air-handling units, inlet guide vanes, and variable-frequency drives. According to the company, two actuators mounted in tandem can be installed on multisectional dampers or linear valves using the M9000-158 tandem mounting kit. The M9132 Series can be used with on/off, floating, or proportional controllers.
