LAS VEGAS — Organizers of ISH North America, the international trade show for the kitchen and bath, plumbing, PVF, and HVAC industries, expect nearly 20,000 participants from North America and around the world, including contractors, wholesale distributors, manufacturer agents, engineers, builders, and architects.

The event takes place Oct. 1-3 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino’s new Convention Center in Las Vegas. The event will include educational seminars and displays by over 500 exhibitors in the 350,000-square-foot convention center.

Show organizers have announced a new multi-level structure for its seminar program, unveiled last year at the inaugural launch of ISH North America in Toronto. The new six-track seminar program is an outgrowth of the demand for more in-depth and concentrated programs within selected industry segments.

“We are excited by the fact that this year’s educational seminars are being scheduled so that attendees can spend the maximum amount of time on the trade show floor,” said Ike Casey, executive vice president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC). “The first seminar time slot is 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., which will allow participants to be on the show floor within 30 minutes of the show opening.”

PHCC’s International Plumbing Apprentice Contest will be held Oct. 2 on the ISH NA show floor. The contest will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contestants will be required to install a basic three-piece bathroom: toilet, sink with faucet, and shower pan with faucet. The installation will include the water and drain waste and vent lines.

The Radiant Panel Association (RPA), a show partner, will also sponsor two sessions titled “Radiant Basics” and “Radiant Precision.”
