ICP Introduces Mobile Training

LEWISBURG, Tenn. — According to International Comfort Products (ICP), its training department has launched a 44-foot mobile training center designed to offer HVAC dealers opportunities to learn about the most modern heating and cooling products and installation.

Steve McAleese, manager of ICP’s National Training Center, said that the new training program will provide hands-on training for Heil, Tempstar, Arcoaire, and KeepRite products.

HVAC training equipment in the mobile center includes both a 90-percent single-stage gas furnace and two 90-percent two-stage gas furnaces. It also includes an 80-percent single-stage furnace, an 80-percent two-stage gas furnace, a 2-ton piston air handler, a 2-ton TXV air handler, a deluxe 1-1/2-ton heat pump, a 2-ton air conditioner, and two 1-1/2-ton heat pumps.

“Dealers and distributors have asked for training centers close to home because they want to send employees for training but can’t afford the expense of sending all technicians to Tennessee,” said McAleese.

For more information about training classes, call the training center at 931-270-4389, ext. 2.
