IAQ Council Search Engine Aids Consumers

The American Indoor Air Quality Council (IAQ Council) Website allows consumers to locate Council-certified IAQ practitioners with a single mouse click. It provides this service through the IAQ Council certificant locator search engine, a database of all Council-certified professionals.

Updated every Friday, the database tracks certificant name, company name, and business address for more than 5,000 IAQ Council-certified professionals throughout North America and overseas.

Consumers search the database by entering a zip code. The search engine returns contact information for all professionals within 100 miles of the zip code entered. Each result includes the company’s distance from the target zip code, regardless of city, county, state, or national boundaries.

Listing in the IAQ Council database is an automatic benefit of certification for all IAQ Council-certified professionals.

The American Indoor Air Quality Council is a nonprofit certifying body founded in 1993 to serve the IAQ industry. The IAQ Council operates independent, third-party accredited certification programs for indoor environmental consultants, microbial consultants, microbial remediators, indoor air quality administrators, and residential mold inspectors. The IAQ Council certifies more than 5,000 professionals in the United States, Canada, and overseas.
