Huntington Named Pres, York Unitary Group

NORMAN, OK — York International Corp. has announced the appointment of Thomas F. Huntington as president, Unitary Products Group (UPG), replacing James Damiani, who resigned to pursue a new professional opportunity.

“We certainly appreciate Jim Damiani’s efforts over the past several months,” Young said, “and wish him the very best in his future pursuits.”

“Tom Huntington has the right combination of knowledge, skills, experience, and personal characteristics to lead the UPG team,” noted Michael R. Young, president and ceo of York International. “He has consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver improved performance and to inspire the confidence of our internal and external constituents.”

A 26-year veteran of the hvac industry, prior to joining York Huntington held various positions with Bristol Compressors, as well as key management positions in sales and marketing at Evcon Industries and Carrier Corporation.

Huntington earned a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s degree from Syracuse University.
