Humane Society Honors AirTight

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Humane Society of Charlotte recognized Greg and Connie Crumpton, co-owners of AirTight Mechanical, for their company’s dedication to volunteerism and the community. “We are very humbled by being recognized for our volunteerism. It is our goal each and every single day to serve our customers and give back to the community,” Greg Crumpton said.

Over the past year, the Crumptons and AirTight have donated countless hours of labor and over $6,000 worth of equipment to install time-saving appliances (a commercial dishwasher, washer, and dryer) and life-saving air conditioning systems at the Humane Society of Charlotte. This donation has saved the organization approximately 500 man-hours per year in cleaning and sanitizing, as well as provided an air conditioned environment for the animals, which is critical in the heat of the summer.

“Connie, Greg, and the entire AirTight team exemplify what it means to be generous, compassionate, and lovers of animals. They understand the importance of caring for those that have no voice and giving them the best possible life they can have,” said Donna Canzano, director of the Humane Society of Charlotte.
