Honeywell Takes Product Tour Across The Country

NOVI, Mich. — Autumn can be a wet, moldy, miserable season for people with allergies. For HVAC contractors, mold in nearly any form except cheese and penicillium means moisture and indoor air quality (IAQ) problems.

To take advantage of IAQ awareness and seasonal contractor availability during the autumn season, Honeywell Automation & Control Solutions, Golden Valley, Minn., is touring the United States (plus two stops in Canada) with its full range of residential IAQ products — for filtration, air exchange, humidity and temperature control, zoning, and more.

The News caught up with Cyd Perszyk and Brent Vick while the show stopped in the Detroit area. They explained that the company’s contractor services, including a Web-based sales program (through which customers can purchase products online from contractors), also will be described to area contractors. In addition, each program in every city will have an expert speaker on IAQ. The speaker in Novi, Mich., was Pat Huelman, lead faculty for Residential Building Science at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis).

The product information tour has already been to Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Dallas, and Indianapolis. Through this November it will be held at various locations in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington in the United States; and in Calgary (Alberta) and Toronto in Canada. For more information, contractors should contact their local Honeywell distributors.
