MINNEAPOLIS - Honeywell completed its acquisition of Maxon Corp., a privately held industrial combustion equipment business based in Muncie, Ind. This expands Honeywell’s Environmental and Combustion Controls (ECC) combustion offerings beyond its established residential and commercial applications into the industrial process heating segment.

Maxon manufactures a range of industrial combustion valves, burners, and systems. Its growth has been attributed to its technology and solutions that help customers meet increasing demands around energy-efficient operations, increasing environmental regulations, and the industrialization of emerging economies.

“This is a terrific strategic fit for both Maxon and Honeywell,” said Andreas Kramvis, ECC president. “Honeywell has extensive resources to enhance continued innovative product development and global reach; Maxon greatly expands Honeywell’s industrial combustion offerings and its portfolio complements our overall combustion and controls technology.”
