Hobart of Troy, OH, and Traulsen of Fort Worth, TX, announced that they are consolidating their refrigeration product line under the Traulsen name. Both are business units of Illinois Tool Works (ITW).

Hobart makes products for washing, food handling, food preparation, baking, and cooking, as well as other areas. Traulsen products include reach-ins, under-counter units, and blast chillers.

Under the agreement, production, support, and services for Traulsen refrigeration will continue in Fort Worth. The products will be brought to market through the Hobart sales organization and dealers. According to company officials, the Traulsen brand will be sold solely through Hobart agents and dealers.
