Heraeus Sensor-Nite: temperature sensor

The M-FX platinum resistance temperature detector (PRTD) combines the advantages of wire-wound and thin-film sensors, the manufacturer says. The hysteresis-free unit performs over an operating temperature range of -200°C to 500°C. It is highly resistant to temperature shock and also offers long-term stability and vibration resistance, says the company. Applications include cold storage and freezers. It is especially suitable for temperature control in laboratories with frequent temperature shocks and low temperatures.
