CLEVELAND - The Heat Exchange Institute (HEI) formed a new HEI Air Cooled Condenser Section. The Air Cooled Condenser Section became part of HEI in 2009 and is currently working on the development of an air cooled condenser standard.

The standard will address such subjects as design considerations for air cooled condensers, condenser performance and operation, instrumentation and control, service connections, and venting equipment, as well as other important technical information on air cooled condensers. The Air Cooled Condenser Section anticipates releasing the new standard sometime in late 2010.
