All-aluminum, brazed-construction heat exchanger coils are designed for use in applications requiring maximum cleaning capability with no clogging. The dust-free designs are available in both conventional, round-tube finless technology and in flat-tube microchannel technology. Thermal performance of aluminum round-tube designs meets conventional dust-free copper tube designs, but has half the weight, says the manufacturer. Flat-tube microchannel coils allow tight tube spacing for increased thermal performance while maintaining large cleaning lanes in a lightweight, durable coil.
