Grundfos ‘Pumps on Tour' Truck Travels Through the Northeast

OLATHE, Kan. - The Grundfos “Pumps on Tour” truck - a fully equipped, mobile pump education center - is making several stops throughout the Northeast region this spring. As part of a 48-city, eight-month, nationwide tour, Pumps on Tour is making an extended visit at the upcoming National Association of Oil Heat Service Managers (NAOHSM) 57th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Providence, R.I.

According to the company, each tour stop offers trade professionals the opportunity to view interactive pump displays and gain hands-on training from Grundfos staff. The 1,200-square-foot vehicle includes a mini-theater for viewing training videos and presentations, as well as a series of interactive working displays of a wide selection of pumping solutions.

Pumps on Tour is featuring the new ALPHA™ energy-optimized 115-volt circulator, with a permanent magnet motor design that cuts power consumption by a minimum of 50 percent compared with other circulators in its class, said the company. It is also featuring Thinking Buildings Universe (ThinkingBuildings.com), a new online resource offering contractors and engineers a complete range of information and tools on commercial pumps.
