Grundfos Begins Pumps Tour Event in North Carolina

The Grundfos “Pumps on Tour” vehicle is a fully equipped, mobile educational center for trade professionals in the residential, commercial, and industrial pumping industry.

OLATHE, Kan. - Grundfos “Pumps on Tour” - a fully equipped, mobile educational center for trade professionals in the residential, commercial, and industrial pumping industry - will be visiting 48 different cities throughout the United States from March through November 2010. Each tour stop will allow trade professionals to gain hands-on training from Grundfos staff and the chance to experience interactive pump displays.

The 1,200-square-foot vehicle includes a mini-theater for viewing training videos and presentations, as well as a series of interactive, working displays of a wide selection of residential, commercial, and industrial pump solutions from Grundfos.

Pumps on Tour will feature the new Alpha™, an energy-optimized, 115-volt circulator featuring a permanent magnet motor design. It will also feature Thinking Buildings Universe. Available at thinkingbuildings. com, this new online resource offers contractors and engineers a complete range of information and tools on commercial pumps.

The first tour event of 2010 was held in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., with multiple stops throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States during March, April, and May. An updated list of tour events and registration can be found online.
