QuickSet sizes from 1/2 to 2 inches are union ball valves equipped with venturi, graduated memory stop, and Flow Optimizer, which is designed to improve overall valve performance and make static balancing simple and quick, the manufacturer states. Griswold QuickSets in 2-1/2- to 18-inch sizes are steel, low-loss venturi measuring stations with a Quadrant Piezo-Ring. The design feature allows for the valve to be installed after an elbow, temperature control, or other valve, without affecting flow. QuickSets in 2-1/2 to 18 inches are available with butterfly valve and flanged, welded, or grooved-end options.
