The Model QEM plenum fan is ideal for lower-pressure supply or return air-handling applications where first cost is critical, says the company. The plenum fan features a 12-bladed airfoil wheel that reduces both energy consumption and sound levels. According to the manufacturer, compared to other plenum fans in the market, the QEM has a more compact footprint that requires less floor space for installation. Available in both belt and direct drive, the fan can be specified with a wide range of accessories, including inlet guards, protective cages, and isolators. The belt-drive version of the fan is licensed to bear the Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. (AMCA) Seal for sound and air performance.
