GPG10 Series (10-SEER) and GPG12 Series (12-SEER) residential/light commercial packaged gas/electric heating and cooling units can be used in both downflow and horizontal applications. Both series' 2- to 5-ton units share the same footprint and have three different chassis heights, depending on the capacity of the unit. Features include aluminized steel tubular heat exchangers, Copeland® compressors, louvered guard protection on the condenser coils, 1,750-rpm vertical discharge condenser fan motor with removable grille, in-shot gas burners with direct-spark ignition system, and UV-resistant powder-paint finish. According to the manufacturer, the aluminum fin coils with rifled copper tubing have been leak tested three times to ensure they meet the rigid leak test standard of less than 0.1 ounce per year.
