Goettl Names New GM, Direction

TEMPE, Ariz. - Kenneth Goodrich, Southwest Division vice president for American Residential Services LLC. (ARS), announced the appointment of Allen Crick as general manager of Goettl Air Conditioning Inc. Crick currently serves as area manager for ARS, and will continue to hold that position. With his new appointment, he will be additionally responsible for the overall management of 70-year-old Goettl and plans to revitalize its involvement in the community and enhance the company’s customer service.

The move comes as Daniel Burke retires from the helm of the company he led for more than 20 years. In an open letter to employees, Burke touted Crick’s ability to move the company forward.

“Effective immediately, Allen Crick will assume the role of general manager,” wrote Burke. “His unique vision and high energy will serve the company well. Allen knows he can count on my support going forward.”

Crick has more than 12 years experience managing air conditioning companies. He was recruited by Goodrich and ARS in 2008 from Las Vegas to help Goettl return to profitability in Phoenix.

“I have profound respect for the work Dan has put into this company, and for the Goettl name,” said Crick. “Goettl remains a dependable and experienced provider of good service with good value, and an important part of Phoenix’s history. I will be focused on helping the company thrive with fantastic customer service and continued community outreach.”
