NORTH EASTON, MA — GasNetworks will hold its Second Annual Heating Professional’s Fall Conference on Sept. 19, 2002, at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel and Golf Resort located in Wakefield, MA. The one-day conference has been organized by the training committee of GasNetworks to provide heating professionals with technical knowledge from both a theoretical and practical viewpoint. The conference will also provide information on new gas technologies and high-efficiency, natural gas-fired heating equipment.

Equipment manufacturers and suppliers will be on hand to display the latest in natural gas heating products and technology. Weil-McLain’s glass-piped steam boiler will be operating and on display throughout the day.

A number of educational sessions will take place, including “You, Me, and the Basement,” presented by Dan Holohan and Carol Fey. This seminar will deal with steam and hot water systems and controls. Holohan and Fey will lay out a particular contractor challenge and allow participants to share how they would deal with the situation.

Other courses include, “Two-Pipe Steam Made Easy,” “Getting on Friendly Terms with Controls,” “Proper Venting Practices,” and several more.
