The Pulse 2000 hydronic low emissions boiler (PHW 2000LE) is a fully condensing boiler that provides efficiencies up to 99 percent. It offers modulation with a 5:1 turndown; propane-fired boilers operate with a 3:1 turndown. The unit can be plugged into a standard 120-vac outlet. The boiler has no minimum flow rate or return water temperature. The PHW 2000LE has extremely low electrical consumption, using less than 1A of current draw during boiler operation. It is pre-certified to South Coast Air Quality Management District Rule 1146.2 with consistent NOx emissions of less than 30 ppm at all firing rates. Existing Pulse Hydronic boilers can also be retrofitted to meet the low emissions standards set forth by SCAQMD Rule 1146.2. The low emissions design provides all the advantages of the natural Pulse combustion process in an even more environmentally friendly design, said the manufacturer.
