Fondis S.A., c/o French Technology Press Office: Wine Cellar A/C Units

WineMaster cellar air conditioning units provide a large number of features that favor the aging of wine in the best of conditions, including electronically controlled optimization of temperature and hygrometry and a motor fitted with an antivibration device, says the company. The units do not have to be installed in an actual wine cellar; any unused space can be used, as long as it is insulated, states the manufacturer. The units allow excess humidity to be condensed and removed. The WineMaster air conditioning units are equipped with digital-display electronic thermostats, which enable the temperature to be maintained between 46 degrees and 57 degrees F, depending on volume and insulation, states the manufacturer. Air conditioners to be installed in cold-weather countries are equipped with a heating element that allows the air to be heated if required to maintain the chosen temperature.
