Known primarily for room air conditioners, Fedders has extended its product line in recent years to include a full line of air treatment solutions, including condensing units, air handlers, gas furnaces, air cleaners, and humidifiers, as well as vertical and horizontal packaged air conditioners and heat pumps for residential, commercial, and telecommunications applications.

Fedders introduced its line of 12-SEER central air conditioning products late 2003 and showcased them at the 2004 Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Ex-position and International Builders' Show in January.

The 12-SEER split cool condensing unit is available with a performance range of 18,500 to 55,000 Btuh and the heat pump condensing units have a range of 17,600 to 54,000 Btuh.
