The Ducane Horizontal 80 gas furnaces have individual balancing of each blower wheel, whisper burners, and the Honeywell® slow-opening gas valve, states the manufacturer. Features include a crimped, aluminized steel heat exchanger, time delay off for air conditioner SEER enhancement, integrated furnace control, direct-spark ignition, and a three-speed blower motor, the company says. The furnace can be installed in a horizontal left or horizontal right configuration and with vertical venting or horizontal venting with mechanical draft. The furnaces have connections for an electronic air cleaner, humidifier, and continuous fan. These 80% AFUE furnaces have a heating range from 50,000 to 125,000 Btuh, and they support a cooling capacity of 1-1/2 to 5 tons.
