To relieve the nuisance and safety hazard of wet floors, the new Dry Floors™ floor drying system uses auto-matically controlled electric radiant heat, as necessary, to reduce the drying time of tile and similar floors. Upon detection of moisture by the embedded sensor(s), the control system applies power to the floor heating cables. Unlike anti-skid coatings, requiring at least annual renewal, this system will provide years of maintenance-free life, the company says. Applications include building entrances and foyers, institutional and commercial kitchens, and others.
