On Nov. 11, on behalf of the foundation, Jess Gordon of Cropp-Metcalfe and Pat Dennis, assistant dean of the HVAC Program at NVCC, will present a check for $2,000 to student recipient Bryan Eland to continue his studies in HVACR. The scholarship is being funded in part by Cropp-Metcalfe and by members and allies of EAI in the Mid-Atlantic region. The presentation will take place at NVCC's Woodbridge Campus
EAF and its members and allies have given eight scholarships this year, and they are currently working with schools to give out 10 additional scholarships this year.
EAF is a nonprofit organization created to attract, educate, and develop students in HVACR programs by awarding as many scholarships as possible for the education of the future workforce in the contracting industry. One hundred percent of all contributions go directly to the foundation scholarship fund and all administrative expenses are paid by Excellence Alliance.
