Triple D™ by Specialty Chemical is a better coil cleaner than yellow (nonacid) cleaners, yet equally safe, claims the company. It is a degreaser, detergent, and deodorant. The manufacturer claims that the proprietary formulation is unique. The cleaner is intended to be nonfoaming in order to extend the life of metal fins that tend to be eaten away by foam. The product is available with a Teflon® coil guard - Triple D Plus. According to the company, this added protection makes future cleaning easier.
