MONTREAL - The Ninth International Building Performance Simulation Association Building Simulation Conference and Exhibition will be held Aug. 15-18, 2005, in Montreal. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is a cosponsor of the event.

Building Simulation 2005 will consist of keynote speeches, paper presentations, software demonstrations, and plenary sessions.

Topics include: building physics; HVAC systems; energy supply systems; human factors; indoor air quality; building services; advances in modeling, including optimization; recent developments in software interoperability; air movement in buildings; experiences on teaching building simulation; and simulation tools for sustainable buildings.
