Dec. 22, 2010: Daikin AC Adds New Texas Manufacturer's Representative

CARROLLTON, Texas - Daikin AC (Americas) Inc. has announced that HTS division, Direct Expansion Solutions (DXS), will represent Daikin’s line of variable refrigerant volume (VRV®) HVAC equipment in north Texas.

The DXS division of HTS, which is one of the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturer’s representatives in North America, specializes in variable refrigerant volume implementation and design and will work closely with Daikin AC. “We are excited about our valuable partnership with HTS and DXS because we share a common goal. To be the best in our respective industries,” said Russell Tavolacci, Daikin AC vice president and general manager. “DXS maintains an impressive staff of HVAC professionals that will become an important asset to Daikin as we continue to expand in North America.”

Daikin AC will support the manufacturer’s representative by providing technical, training and design support for Daikin’s advanced products. Mike Donovan, principal of HTS Texas, said, “the move to Dallas/Fort Worth will enable DXS to support the marketing and sales effort for the Daikin VRV technology. We are thrilled to offer an on-the-ground presence to provide the latest innovations in high-efficiency heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to building owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and facilities maintenance crews in north Texas.”
