LA CROSSE, Wis. - Trane has announced that it is now accepting reservations for its first half 2006 schedule of commercial training courses.

One-week courses available include: Air Conditioning Service, Commercial Service 1, Commercial Service 2, Water-Air Systems Service, IntelliPak Rooftop Service, Precedent/Voyager Rooftop Service, HVAC Electrical Troubleshooting, RTAA/WA/UA Rotary Chiller Service, RTAC Rotary Chiller Service, RTHA/RTHB Rotary Chiller Service, RTHC/RTHD Rotary Chiller Service, Rotary Chiller Electronic Control, Absorption Essentials, Trane Absorption Chillers, Chiller Motor Control, CenTraVac Systems Fundamentals, CenTraVac Electronic Controls, and CenTraVac Mechanical Service.

According to Trane, courses balance classroom theory with practical equipment lab and systems troubleshooting methods. Technicians will learn to diagnose problems with controls, refrigeration, and water and airside systems, to help reduce time and expense when servicing Trane products. All courses covering refrigeration provide the most current information on proper handling of refrigerants and compliance with current regulations. Classes are held in Trane's Technology Center training facility in La Crosse, Wis., or at the product's manufacturing facility.

Tuition for one-week courses is $1,450 with the exception of the CenTraVac Mechanical Service class, which is $2,900. Tuition covers daily transportation, lunch each day, and all training and reference materials. Travel and hotel expenses are the responsibility of the participant.

For a catalog of class dates and the latest course content information, visit the Trane Web site at http://www.trane.com/commercial/training/tech.asp or contact your local Trane commercial sales office or parts center. You can also contact the Trane technical training registrar at 608-787-3232.
