The compact fan-powered variable air volume (VAV) terminal allows every office to have its own environmental control. According to the manufacturer, it is the perfect solution for even temperature control in offices and other areas that use VAV systems, by making it cost effective to allow the occupant to be comfortable without affecting occupants of other offices. The unit, which ships in two boxes, can easily be installed with the ceiling grid in place. It is available with a direct digital control enclosure. Features include 208/240/480 single-phase or three-phase voltage, a 5-kW heat element, and 900-cfm (nominal) fan. Dimensions of the VAV terminal are 26 (length) by 12 (height) by 16 (width) inches; the width is 26 inches with the VAV damper installed. The unit is ETL-approved and comes with a standard five-year limited warranty on all parts.
