Murphy Company Mechanical Contractors (St. Louis, MO) has named Keith Motz, P.E., a project manager.
Automated Machinery Inc. (AMI) (Cincinnati, OH) recently rebuilt and retrofitted state-of-the-art controls on a Wiedemann CNC turret punch press for the A.O. Smith Water Products Co. plant in El Paso, TX. This is the second retrofit/rebuild project AMI has carried out for the facility.
Wiegmann Associates (St. Charles, MO) recently developed and installed a new HVAC system for the new St. Louis Post-Dispatch Pulitzer Publishing Center in Maryland Heights, MO. According to the contractor, the new system will more efficiently cool the 207,000-square-foot facility, and will create energy savings of $220,000 a year.
