The XR motorized impeller combines the efficiency of a backward-curved airfoil impeller with the advanced technology of an external rotor motor, for better air performance and quieter sound levels, says the company. The units are well suited for applications where space is limited. The coupling of the motor and impeller minimizes space requirements and enables precision balancing for vibration-free operation, the manufacturer says.
