The UltraMateâ„¢ modular component air conditioning system is designed for buildings that require individualized comfort year-round, such as nursing homes, office buildings, hotels, and apartments. The A/C system is offered in five capacities ranging from 7,000 to 18,000 Btuh and is available in 115, 208, 230, and 277 V. For new construction installation, the unit is provided with wall sleeve, room cabinet, outdoor air louver, and four major functional components consisting of the cooling chassis, fan and motor board assembly, heating section, and control system. The cooling chassis is a self-contained refrigeration circuit within the component chassis. The modular fan and motor board assembly is removable independent of the heating section. Either an electric heating section or hot water or steam heating coils can be selected. The modular control box features plug-in connections. The UltraMate also can be used for replacement applications.
