Coleman LX Series air conditioners with a nominal 14.5 SEER energy efficiency rating are offered in capacities from 2 through 5 tons. These models have been designed to meet and exceed the 2009 ENERGY STAR® program requirements of 14.5 SEER/12.0 EER - all while using single-stage compressors and loose coil combinations. When the compact LX Series 14.5 SEER air conditioner is coupled with a Coleman X-13 air handler, a high-value, high-efficiency, cost-effective and sustainable cooling system is created resulting in efficiencies as high as 16.0 SEER/13.50 EER. The system features MicroChannel coil technology, uses up to 50% less refrigerant than competitors’ systems and includes a quiet DC blower that increases system ratings by as much as 1 SEER point over a standard air handler.
