The DRY-R™ is a moisture-removing additive that eliminates H₂O in commercial, industrial, and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems by changing its chemical composition rather than masking or converting it to oillike substances. According to the manufacturer, the additive is a revolutionary cure and long-term prevention against moisture, which leads to acid corrosion, sludge buildup, and reduced system operating efficiency. The additive chemically changes H₂O to a low-viscosity, nonoily, highly soluble, and residue-free liquid that flows freely throughout the system without chemically attaching to commonly found system contaminants. It is compatible with all refrigerants and oils, said the company. The additive comes in a 1-ounce vacuum-packed can with its own charging hose.
