TORONTO - In mid-February, 170 exposition industry professionals gathered at the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport Hotel for Canadian Association of Exposition Management’s (CAEM’s) Annual Awards Gala “Celebrating the Stars of the Show.”

CAEM recognized individuals who have made a significant contribution to the exposition management industry and to the association.

“We want to make all of our Hall of Fame Inductees, Members of the Year, Certified Directors of Expositions (C.D.E.) and Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) Graduates feel like VIPs. This year, we have the distinct pleasure of also awarding an individual with an honorary life membership in the association,” said Mike Russell, chair of the awards gala committee.

During the evening, CIPH’s general manager of trade shows, Elizabeth McCullough, was inducted into Canada’s exposition management Hall of Fame. This high level distinction award is sponsored by GES Global Experience Specialists and is awarded to leaders who have achieved prominence for the honor they bring to the exposition industry, and as a result of their activities within CAEM. A Hall of Fame inductee is viewed as a professional with a commitment to quality and a mentor who shares their wisdom and industry knowledge to expand the industry.
