Cephren Expands ASA Partnerships

PALO ALTO, CA — Cephren Inc. announced an industry partnership with the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) to expand the existing relationship as part of a joint effort to deliver online e-commerce, procurement, and project management services to ASA members.

Rob Majteles, president and ceo of Cephren, said, “We are building a comprehensive online workplace that enables everyone involved in a project to work together seamlessly from a single online location. By working with ASA, we will be able to provide e-commerce and collaboration services to the specialty subcontractor community, enabling them to do business with general contractors and suppliers faster, smarter, and cheaper.”

Through Cephren’s MarketNet, ASA members can:

  • Create and manage new projects online;

  • Import bills of materials from estimating systems to create bid packages;

  • Generate and issue requests for quotation to selected preferred vendors;

  • Compare and analyze bids that are imported directly into a comparison worksheet;

  • Respond to electronic invitations to bid from general contractors; and
  • Access and view electronic plans and specifications from Cephren Project Net®, the company’s project manage-ment and collaboration service.
