Bob Catan, former president and CEO of Dynaforce, a division of Mars® Air Systems, retired after 51 years in the air curtain industry. Catan founded Dynaforce in 1956. He received several technical U.S. patents for Dynaforce technology, served on the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International committee that developed AMCA 220-82 guidelines for air curtain test methods, and developed a comprehensive educational, technical manual detailing the benefits and energy savings air curtains offer to commercial and industrial buildings. Mars added Catan to its team in 2000 as a consultant for sales and marketing.
