Carrier Contributes to Habitat for Humanity

ATLANTA - Carrier Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., and Mingledorff’s Inc. partnered to donate an energy-efficient HVAC system to Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. The unit was installed in a new home for Cassie Pickens and her family.

The Pickens household received a Comfort Series™ packaged heat pump, Carrier’s energy-efficient, year-round home comfort system.

“Carrier is privileged to take part in the donation opportunity with this deserving family in Atlanta,” said Chris Nelson, vice president and general manager, Carrier Residential and Light Commercial Systems. “Our continued partnership with Habitat for Humanity enables us to help families from coast-to-coast enjoy Carrier comfort in their homes.”

Marci Bozeman, director of development at Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, said, “Atlanta Habitat is delighted to partner with Carrier and Mingledorff’s. Their generous donation makes a positive impact on the affordability of this home and helps advance our goal of serving more families.”
