Ice Bank® C-Models (1500, 1320C, and 1190C) feature new modular, internalized main headers under the cover of each tank, using up to 20% less square footage than previous thermal energy storage tanks, according to the company. The new internal headers can be rapidly configured in the field, reducing field piping and insulation. The polyethylene welding process has eliminated mechanical joints and weldings, minimizing the overall time spent on maintenance, says the manufacturer.
