Preferred™ flat-screen thermostats, offered in programmable and nonprogrammable models, offer two-wire installation for temperature, humidity, and Hybrid Heat™ control. The programmable model offers an Xpansion Port™ (ExP™) accessory that lets homeowners use their computer to create profiles for members of a household that detail settings for temperature and humidity. Dealers can program settings for home-owners through a computer interface with the ExP application. This model also allows homeowners to program settings for each day of the week, with up to four changes throughout the day. Preferred nonprogrammable models feature Touch-n-Go™, which gives homeowners one-touch access to settings for “home,” “away,” and “vacation,” even if they don’t follow a set schedule every day. Features include indicators for filter/UV light/humidifier pad replacements, automatic adjustments for daylight savings time, an auto tracking humidify option and dehumidify option, and a simplified ventilation/damper control.
