Bryant Expands Distribution Base

INDIANAPOLIS - Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems announced a new partnership with Petro Holdings Inc., which will utilize Bryant as its preferred vendor for air conditioning products through February 2010.

Petro is a regional oil provider and part of Star Gas Partners, the nation’s largest retail distributor of home heating oil. Petro currently operates in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the District of Columbia under the trade names Petro Heating & Air Conditioning Services and Meenan Oil.

“We are excited to partner with Petro Holdings and we will do whatever it takes to help the company grow its sales and service business,” said Kathy Weirick, Bryant National Accounts.

According to Joseph McDonald, Petro’s vice president of sales and marketing, after evaluating various brands, the company made its decision based on quality, value, brand recognition, distribution capabilities, and customer service.

“This opportunity will help us build our central air conditioning business,” said McDonald. “We wanted to partner with a company that enables us to satisfy customers with a high-quality product at a fair price, while giving us the ability to generate additional leads as a result of its brand equity and strength. Bryant meets all of these criteria.”
