Another model has been added to the 1000 Builder Series of digital nonprogrammable thermostats, which can be installed in existing homes or new residential construction. The 1005 model is a battery powered, universal heat-only or cool-only thermostat that is installer selectable for either system. Features include bright display backlight, latching relay output, compressor short cycle protection, and adjustable temperature differential.
