Type 2250 and Type 2270 with Version 3 application software are hand-held noise and vibration analyzers. They can be used in environmental, occupational, and industrial applications to specify the ambient noise levels permitted by the mechanical systems of buildings. The specifications also serve as design criteria for mechanical in insulating components such as air-handling equipment, plumbing, and pumps. Type 2270 and Type 2250 application modules include frequency analysis and logging (profiling). Type 2270 features an integrated digital camera, two-channel measurement capability, and integrated LAN and USB interfaces. The Type 2250 offers backlit pushbuttons, a large color touchscreen that is visible both in sunlight and in difficult lighting conditions, and a USB interface.
