Aug. 16, 2005: Book On Control System Basics For Techs Published

HAYWARD, Calif. - The book Control System Basics for HVAC Technicians by Leo A. Meyer has been released by LAMA Books. According to the publisher, the book covers the basics of electric control systems, pneumatic control systems, and control system maintenance, using step-by-step language and graphics to make it easy to understand.

Control System Basics for HVAC Technicians also provides practical tips on troubleshooting and how to pinpoint the source of problems, says LAMA Books. It helps techs determine what they can fix themselves and when to call a specialist. In addition, it includes an English-to-Spanish glossary of common control system terms.

Author Leo A. Meyer has written over 50 books on HVAC topics. He is a former dean of instruction for vocational education at Chabot College, instructor at University of California, Berkeley, high school instructor, and sheet metal journeyman. Control System Basics is the most recent addition to his series, The Indoor Environment Technician's Library.
