  • The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) (Walnut, CA) will release Uniform Plumbing Code: The Archival Collection 1946 — 1994 on CD-ROM. For more information, visit (website).

  • The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES), the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) will co-sponsor “Indoor Air Quality Current Technologies and Applications.” The seminar will be hosted at the ISH North America trade show in Toronto, ON, Canada, on Oct. 31, 2002.

  • The Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) (Chantilly, VA) awarded its $1,200 Women in Construction Scholarship to Gretchen Oxler, a student at Kansas State University studying architecture.

  • The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and the Associated Specialty Contractors (ASC) (Falls Church, VA) will hold a summit addressing risks faced by contractors in the construction marketplace.
